And were up above it and we shot down at it, and then we had to go down and there was like a big lot of those acid and there was a little bit damage and eventually we killed it. You guys are going down a path and being led into this lush valley. Like I said, as far as your eye can see. You're seeing green spaces. You see rivers off in the distance, groves, and like I said, individual farms. As you travel down this path, it takes a couple hours of just walking. The Tonhons aren't racing along at a particularly fast clip because it's not super urgent and they are just trying to stay healthy. Like you're not trying to push them particularly difficult or you're not trying to push them particularly hard. You know what I've always wondered? I've always wondered what these type of.

In the distance, you guys see what looks much more clearly like an actual farm. It's going from wild grasses to much more controlled crops. And very far in the distance you see what appear to be banthas being used to push along hose in the ground.

So you guys are being led into the sort of like, commerce area for, like, what looks like a few farms close by. So I don't want to say a full village, but clearly there's some small shops. There's a blacksmith that you can see. There's a butcher, and you can see hung animals that you can't identify exactly what species they're from, if they're even something you've seen already or not, because they've been skinned and their limbs have been chopped off and cooked. But one thing, as they're moving through the space, everyone seems very pleasant and excited. Foshot. Can you reach out with the Force and sort of sense the people around you? Do it.

Yeah. You don't notice anything immediately off of them. However, there is a sense of panic that you guys all start to pick up on as voices. It's like, oh, no. Out in the fields. Out in the fields. Both Griff and Finn sort of react, sensing with their own Force powers. What's beyond. Stay here. Stay here. And they dart off into these tall crops, disappearing on their tauntauns, riding through it as quickly as possible. You guys are just sort of left to wonder what's happening, but villagers are running in the same general direction, grabbing, like farm implements. Anything with a sharp end on it. Hey, should we help them or.

Okay, pulling off of your tauntaun, you're able to grab onto a thicker branch and pull yourself higher up. You have to ascend a few levels of this tree to get to a point where you have enough of a vantage to see deeper into this field. So like I said, it's this very tall crop that is around it's. Bearing some kind of fruit or vegetable. You can't really tell, but there's very clearly rows that have been carved into it for people to move around. And in those spaces, you can see emerging out of it, these very large creatures that people are fleeing from. You can see from the indentations being put in it, from their bodies moving through that. There's somewhere between half a dozen and a dozen of them.

You can't exactly tell much beyond just that it was a human who stumbles and is dragged into one of these rows of crops.

So you can see a little bit of the Achillean rangers because they were riding on their tauntauns. And these creatures that you're seeing are big, but you don't get a good look at them because they seem to be quadrupedal.

It's difficult to see, so give me spot checks to sort of try to pick up on details as you're rushing into these tall grasses on your tauntauns. They come up to your face, but you can see just over 25 minus 1. Fantastic teamwork.

So, poof. You wander off into a weird path. Where am I? Meanwhile, foe. You easily are able to follow the sort of the shifting, waving leaves to get to the largest crew of people. So you come to this edge of the foliage, coming to one of these rows, and stepping out into the open space, you see one of these creatures. It is about the size of three men. Like I said, it appears to be quadrupedal. But you think it could stand on its hind legs if it chose to. Here's the freaky part about it. And give me. You don't have any knowledge skills that are useful. Just give me a straight intelligence check on this one.

Okay. Looking at it, you find that the creature looks very familiar to you. In fact, Steve, it looks. It looks like this twisted, massively or massively sized version of a mimoc. It looks like its wings have basically evolved into just strong front limbs. And you can see that its paws are actually just individual giant thumb claws that it's standing on. And it has a little tuft of vestigial fingers with webbing on the base of it. Like I said, it's very big and it still has that sucker mouth. And in fact, you see one of them is latched onto the skull of a human boy, and the boy's eyes have rolled back and people are trying to stab at it with implements.

And, like I said, these sort of long, powerful, repurposed bat wings for front limbs.

However, you've come into the clearing where there's clearly others of them, and you think that just outside of your line of sight, you can spot the shifting shadow of where more of these creatures are stalking. Every now and then, a farmer will jab with, like, a pitchfork or into, like, into the crops, into the darkness, where you think that's where one of them must have been.

You're able to, with your mind, sort of reach out. It doesn't have a straight up neck, per se, for the way the head's shaped. It's more of a bulbous outgrowth of its torso that then the sucker extends from, but you are able to choke the sucker and start. You can feel the life energy that was flowing through it tense up, and it starts to struggle against you. Are you just trying to choke it, or are you trying to, like, rip it off, or what are you doing with that?

Okay. You're able to do so you can feel with. Through the force. It's so powerful a moment when it occurs that as you rip the mouth off the child, his head opens up where it had been latched onto and blood and brain starts to ooze out and it falls down dead.

So you start shouting to the people that you see in their panic. And the fact that you've got this cloak on, they can't quite make out the apparel that you have on. So you don't strike them as anything weird other than a stranger. But they're so panicked that they respond to you and they start heading as you shepherd them back towards the town. So good people who were in this panic and not quite clear where to run because of the tall crops have been assisted. Huflung dung. The creature is right there. You were able to surprise it, but it seems to be getting ready again. You can get up and get off one shot or you can try to fire off two shots. And while remaining prone, I'm gonna fire.

And so rather than the sort of charring that you would see on a normal carbon based life form, instead you have this sort of like melting glass effect at its lips and exterior. So it almost starts to splinter and other areas sort of like liquefy. It's. So, like I said, the sucker and the front nub outcropping of its torso just sort of breaks apart, either, like I said, in liquid or in shards, and the creature falls limp. All right.

And he escorts you to this throne where a human who looks like he's clearly related to Griff, he has very similar facial features, a little bit older, and wearing these long robes that are very ornate, comes forward and is.
