Entered into this darkness. And almost no sooner have they stopped seeing the light of the world above. Have they been approached by some sort of large Bipedal creature that has let off this guttural roar standing before you. It looks almost like a human that's been gnarled and stretched into this 10 foot tall sort of form. It looks like it has humanoid skin that's been cracked and has scale formations on it. Just truly disgusting. It looks like a mockery of humanity. Before you could I have the three of you roll initiative for me please?

Grif fires off a shot at the creature. It strikes its hide. And while you see some scarring and burns on the more humanoid looking flesh, the areas that seem the more gnarled, scaly form almost shows no sign of having been hit. However, the creature does see this and starts to charge towards Griffith.

It raises up its arms. In his arms it's a biped. And it's about to slash into Griff with the long claws on his hands. And he deflects it with his shield. But the creature is sort of grasping onto this energy barrier. Its skin is sizzling while it's pressing against this. And Griff is just holding him back with all of his might and he's going to be run. Run, you fools.

So you blast them in these rocks that are above these stalactites, and they come free and start to crash down on the creature. Now, most of them just break apart upon its massive frame, but it's enough to distract him. And Griff takes the opportunity to deactivate his shield for a second and tumble underneath the legs of the creature. And then, positioning his hand close to its foot, reactivates the shield and then knocks it off its feet. So it tumbles forward and slams into the ground.

Good shot, my friend. But we need to run. And so, guys, we're beginning a chase right now. This creature is too powerful to fight and take any sort of, like, serious damage to. So you guys need to run away from it because it was guarding the path into the darkness, and that's where you need to go.

All right, so you guys are moving along at, like, just as fast as you can. You notice that there in this dark space, there's, like, moss and lichen along the edges of the cave walls. Almost seem to throb a little bit as you come close to it.

You don't notice anything particularly weird about it. You hear the sound of running water further ahead of you, and this tunnel just seems to keep on going. None of you, even with low light vision, is able to see very far into it and actually make out details too far in. But you can hear the roar of this creature, and you know that it's coming close to you. It's gaining on you because none of you are fast enough to fully evade it. Could everyone give me a reflex save?

The way you came is all illuminated, but the fire is starting to spread to other bits of this organic matter that's along the edges. So you guys have to keep on running, because it's coming now.

So Griff ignites his shield and rushes up to the creature, hit him in the balls again. He fires off two shots from his blaster at it. The creature recoils at the shot, but steadies himself and tries to slash it at Grif. Grif takes the blow with his shield, and then Finn leaps up above him and with the bayonet of his blaster, slashes at the creature's face. Wow. While it does cut into the face of the creature, it is not a mortal wound by any stretch of the imagination. There's clearly a deep gash on his face, but it's not penetrating deep into the bone.
